Vergel Estate... Guava Banana is so back
This coffee was a favorite last year, and we are bringing it back! This fantastic coffee is fermented anaerobically, without the presence of oxygen, bringing out complex notes of Banana, Guava, and Cherry Wine. This technique involves fermenting the coffee cherries in an oxygen-deprived environment. After removing the outer skin and pulp, the beans are sealed in airtight tanks or containers, allowing them to ferment without oxygen for 24 to 96 hours. This unique process is believed to unlock an incredible range of flavors. You can expect to experience fruity, floral, and even winey notes that simply aren't present in coffees processed through conventional methods. Get it in the cafe or online!

Standing Desk or Coffee?
Do you work in an office? Have you never understood the appeal of standing desks? Past research has pointed to the fact that sitting for 6 hours a day increases the risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD). However, there’s no need to order your standing desk quite yet! A new study has shown that coffee consumption could counteract these risks. Researchers in China analyzed data from a CDC survey of the exercise habits and dietary habits of 10,000 participants. The results of this study have been reported widely. However, news reports on scientific studies are often presented without context. What does the research actually say?
