Ethiopian Coffees COMING SOON ☕ 🇪🇹

Every year, we welcome an amazing Ethiopian lot from Hamasho Station. After a few shipping delays, we are thrilled to announce this year's Hamasho Natural has made its way to our warehouse. Not only that, we have a brand new lot from the same region, from the Chelbasa One washing station.

Ethiopian coffees are so diverse, and we love featuring multiple coffees at the same time. Hamasho is a natural process, with those classic blueberry and winey notes. Chelbasa is a washed process, with more of a floral complexity.

Both coffees will hit the shelves on September 12.

BBQ Rub + Coffee 🍗

BBQ season may have just "officially" ended, but it's not too late to get out there and cook up some meat (or not meat)! With a sophisticated blend of spices including cumin, smoked paprika and COFFEE, this rub works great with chicken, pork and lamb (and probably anything else you can think of putting on a grill). Guaranteed!

The growers of Unblended Coffee (used with permission)

A new generation... with Sofia Cuadros

Last month, our Coffee Director, Nathanael sat down with Sofia Cuadros at the cafe. Sofia co-founded Unblended Coffee, one of our producing partners in Colombia. They talked about how Unblended got started and the success they've seen in their community. Sofia talked about the Development Lot, which allows producers to experiment with fermentation and new processing methods. She also talked about the upcoming Transformation Lot, a new blend of coffees from female producers in the region.

The video drops next week. Make sure to follow our social media and stay subscribed to this newsletter to be the first to see it!

Listen to the Farmers, It Can't Be Said Enough
Every link in the coffee supply chain assumes tight margins and huge financial risk, though perhaps none so much as the growers themselves. Where a huge majority live with major food insecurity.
