Coffee Releases βοΈ
This season, we've released two new coffees.
This season, we are debuting our Holiday Blend. This blend is dark, full-bodied, and has notes of holiday spice and nuts. However, it's not just a blend of coffees, it's a blend of stories. One component is a lot from Unblended Coffee in Colombia. Unblended has set out to educate and support young producers in the region and build up a new generation of coffee producers. Another component is from Undugu in Uganda. The Undugu Project started as a group of close friends and former colleagues who previously worked together in East Africa. The group committed to working with other farmers and their communities to adapt to climate change and improve their economic outcomes. Those coffees, plus a bit of a natural processed coffee from Ethiopia to give it an extra je ne sais quoi, have created an excellent cup of coffee for whatever holiday you choose to celebrate.
We've also released a coffee from Finca Cruz in Ecuador. We're releasing this coffee under our Hi-Fi Single Origin series, and we're so excited about it. It is is a washed anaerobic process, with bright notes of lime and mandarin oranges. It comes from a producer named Galo Morales, who recently became fed up with the high prices charged by coffee exporters, so he created his own exporting company. Now, he produces and exports his own coffee, as well as exporting coffee for several neighboring farms.

Ancient Landscape Revealed
In his classic novella, In the Mountains of Madness, H. P. Lovecraft told the tale of scientists in Antarctica accidentally waking deadly beings from far in Earthβs past. Today, real scientists continue to explore our geological history in the depths of the antarctic ice. So far, they have not found any Elder Beings or cosmic horrors. However, new data gathered from ice penetrating radar has discovered a remarkably well preserved landscape over 14 million years old!
